Personality: Elena is most often described as being a self-sacrificing, compassionate person who holds a high standard of morals toward the world. Before becoming a vampire, Elena wished to have a normal life; growing old, raising a family, getting married. With all the supernatural things she experienced during her time as a human, her future goals became complicated and she began to focus more on the present. Becoming a vampire made any plans of the future she had impossible, but she eventually came to accept that fact. Toward her friends, Elena is very caring and is always helping them, no matter the situation. She often thinks of others' lives before she thinks of her own, causing her to be somewhat careless with her life when put in drastic situations. Towards enemies, Elena mostly has a set mindset about them, and once they've betrayed her trust, she is very unforgiving toward them. Elena enjoys when she's able to escape her troubles, instead being driven to have fun and focus on the good things.

Roleplay sample: Elena followed behind her vampire boyfriend as he led her through the woods, going...well, she didn't know where they were going. He wouldn't tell her. All he said was 'You'll see', then he took her by the hand and they were off. It made her a little uneasy, how he had been pretty much silent the whole journey. Is...something wrong? she asked internally as she observed him from behind. He didn't look...upset, necessarily. Just like he was...thinking. A lot.
When he turned his gaze back to look at her, she naturally let her gaze fall, slightly lowering her head as she relaxed her expression. She felt his eyes on her a moment longer before he stopped. At this, she again raised her eyes to look at him with a look of confusion, before he spoke to her with a small smile.
"What's a little further?" she asked, her voice floating quietly through the air as the trees absorbed the sound.
When he turned his gaze back to look at her, she naturally let her gaze fall, slightly lowering her head as she relaxed her expression. She felt his eyes on her a moment longer before he stopped.
