Essential Information

Personality: Kai has a very childish disposition. He's extremely playful and obsessive, and one of his most defining characteristics is how talkative he is. He has no filter, he gets bored easily, he's unstable, temperamental, and impulsive. However, he's also very clever and resourceful, he's good at fixing things, working out puzzles, tampering with technology, and experimenting with spells. He has a knack for picking up on things very quickly. Although he's very good at manipulating others, and at gaining their trust, he recently gained a conscience after the merge with his little brother, and he's started to use this ability less and less. He began feeling remorse for his past actions and has a newfound yearning for acceptance and familial bonds. He'll help others out while asking either for nothing in turn, or making very simple, childish requests. In fact, people are often surprised at how pure his intentions are. His new feelings both frustrate and confuse him. Coming from the sheltered and strict home that he did, he hates being confined, and he hates when people make quick judgments about him. He harbors a deep-rooted resentment toward his father, who referred to him as an "abomination" while he was growing up, and he's sensitive when anyone else sees him like that, too. Although he's been isolated for 20 years, and can survive just fine on his own, he legitimately enjoys interacting with people and being around them.

+Amendments to canon: Kai never met up with Damon and Bonnie in the prison world, and he escaped on his own when the prison worlds were opened up. He has merged with Luke and gained his brother's conscience, and he's currently the head of the Gemini coven. He's busy wandering by himself, trying to make sense of his newfound feelings and the changing world around him. The zombies were a surprise, but through experimentation, he's learned that he can siphon the magic out of them.
