Personality: Aurora is what you would call an enigma.Before her transition, she was once a sweet, charming and free spirited young woman.She has a seductive nature that made both Lucien Castle and Klaus Mikaelson attracted to her.Though there is dark side to Lady Aurora.She has struggled with manic depression for most of her life and believed that becoming a vampire would help her escape her demons.Aurora has the tendency to be childish, sadistic, malevolent and vindictive.Due to her mental instabilities, heightened by vampirism, she is also very unpredictable.She can go from being friendly towards someone, to being ruthless and deadly.

History: Aurora was born during the 10th century in Southern France.Her mother died just after giving birth to her, something that Aurora blames herself for and refuses to celebrate her birthday.
Aurora and her older brother Tristan seen the Mikaelson siblings enter their home, under the false identities of being the children of Count de Guise.Unbeknownst to everyone but Lucien, they were actually the Original vampires.Klaus Mikaelson and her childhood friend Lucien had both become attracted to Aurora, though she had fallen for Klaus.On her birthday, Klaus had found her alone and upset.When asked what was wrong, she told him that her mother had died during childbirth and that her birthday wasn't something to celebrate.Klaus responded by revealing his darkest secret.He killed his mother in blind rage and placed the blame on his step father Mikael, dooming he and his siblings to spend an eternity on the run.They both swore to comfort each other's pain and never speak of it again.
After Tristan discovered that Klaus and Aurora were together, he denied their relationship.A severely depressed Aurora attempts suicide, by slitting her wrists.Rebekah finds her afterwards and heals her with her blood, telling her to cherish her human life.Shortly after she jumps out of the window and dies, becoming the first vampire from Rebekah's sire line.
News spread quickly of the bloodshed the Mikaelson siblings committed, ensuring that Mikael would find their whereabouts and hunt them down.The Original vampire's had no choice but to run again.After finding out what was happening from Elijah, Aurora asked to come.Elijah refused her to join, as it was something he and his family had to deal with alone.Aurora pointed out that Elijah was too obsessed with his family and that he didn't know them as well as he thought.Elijah then compelled her to explain to him what she had meant by her statement.With no control over what she was saying, she revealed what Klaus did to their mother.A furious Elijah compelled Aurora to only see Klaus as a vile monster, who was not worthy of being loved.Aurora repeated those same feelings to Klaus, leaving him heartbroken.Elijah, afraid of Mikael finding him and his siblings had compelled Aurora, Lucien (Klaus' first turn) and Tristan (who Elijah sired) into believing that they were Rebekah, Klaus and Elijah.The trio spent over a century on the run.
After the Brotherhood of the Five briefly daggered Elijah, the trio were finally freed from their compulsion.The three of them swore revenge for what Elijah had done.Aurora spent many centuries traveling with Lucien, before they eventually went on their own separate paths.
Aurora now finds herself in New Orleans, in hopes of reconnecting with Klaus.She also intends to survive the zombie apocalypse in any way she can, no matter the cost.
