Vince does not have many friends, nor does he feel the need to go out and make any. He's a private person in general, and even to the handful of people he does spend most of his time with, he's closed off with them. As a rule, he prefers to maintain a safe distance. There are only a select few he opens up to, who he feels he can let his guard down around. However, these are also the people he is fiercely loyal to, putting their own protection and needs before his own, and he can even open himself to becoming too trusting of them.

People have always been naturally attracted to him, but in his early years, he had no intention of getting close to anyone, set on his goal for revenge, and a relationship would only get in the way of this. He viewed it as little more than a distraction, and the older he grew, the more he came to close himself off. When he returned to New York with the intention of blending into society once more, and began to adopt his charming façade, putting on airs for people, he flirted with and even publicly dated many women, but it never went beyond that. Not until he met his future fiancée, Katrina Sharpe, who he caught stealing from his personal vault one evening. Although strongly opposed to crime as a whole, Vince could not help feeling amused by her, and as their interactions became more and more frequent, his feelings for her grew as well. She is one of the few people he drops all pretenses with, placing his trust in her completely. He is strongly devoted to her, enjoying the lighthearted atmosphere she brings to his otherwise somber life, and he sees it as his personal task, as her partner, to hold her to the higher standard he knows she's capable of.

Vince does not go out of his way to make enemies, but he also does not avoid it, either. When he was in his younger, angstier stage, he would get into brawls frequently, fighting anyone he pegged as a "criminal", just for the satisfaction of beating them up. However, when his eyes were opened to a larger truth, this narrow mindset was forced to change, and he turned his focus on the corruption in the system, the true root of the evils he saw in the day-to-day of society, and on the demons lurking in the shadows. He views anyone who stands in the way of justice or who seeks to harm others as a threat that needs to be dealt with. When someone does get on his bad side, when his trust is broken or he is wronged by them, it is near impossible to obtain his forgiveness.
