Tommy doesn't make many 'friends', mostly just acquaintances and he'll typically only acquaint himself with them if he needs something. A friend for Tommy would be someone who provides an endless challenge, someone who he could meet eye to eye with on a level which he considers to be equal. He would want a kindred spirit of sorts. He won't ever necessarily sacrifice for a friend, but he will find ways to keep them in his life, in one way or another.

Tommy has many enemies, though the line between these and his friends is sometimes very thin. Typically, the type of people who he absolutely despises are those who consider themselves entitled, who scheme and indulge their greed, and who govern in hypocrisy. Should you prove yourself to fit any of these molds, he often won't hesitate to kill--simply for the pleasure of doing so. Now that the world is ungoverned, he is free to do what he wishes with those he disapproves of.

The ideal lover for Tommy is someone who he can be sure will stay at his side, through anything. Someone he can rely on and who can fill that emptiness he feels. His form of love is a bit different from most, as his is much like that of a child. Incapable of empathy or self-sacrifice, his love can often be very selfish and insensitive, though he will also completely and unquestionably accept his lovers with all of their flaws without judging them. His unique version of love takes the form of trust, appreciation and genuine enjoyment in the company of his lover. The only person he has found who fulfills all of these things is his wife Holly, who he is firmly dedicated to. She is the first person since his transformation who he actually seeks to help and who he, at times, even behaves somewhat selflessly for. He feels that he has found a partner in crime with her, and has actively been teaching her all that he knows of combat.
