Personality: As a human, Caroline was often jealous of Elena. She felt fiercely competitive and resorted to shallowness in order to get any guy's attention. She still considered Elena one of her best friends and was very protective of her despite her insecurities. After her transition, Caroline grew more confident and level-headed. She became a voice of reason in her group of friends and was willing to help the people she cared about any way she could. She cares deeply about people, even strangers, and tries to protect them through any means. However, if she ever had to make a choice between the strangers and her friends, she would always put her loved ones first. Caroline enjoys her new life as a vampire, having adapted very quickly to the lifestyle. She has become more cheerful and carefree, but will still scold anyone who leaves a mess. Caroline is determined to live a normal life while also enjoying the perks of her immortality.
